Love my URS4.  Bit of work done but nothing you guys could do with the knowledge you have.  Just wondering whether its about to cost me a bomb and whether its worth selling.  Would be reluctant to see it go, but... Had hoses, V belts, new (original) rotors and discs and pads this year....  What interest there might be in buying this - what might it be worth?
Would value any thoughts..
Cheers

Head-linings on both mine were fine.  I think they were finally getting adhesives sussed, after 15 years

Hydraulic booster, yes

perhaps a private import?  EMD made a very deliberate decision with the urs6 to go only with autos, for whatever bizarre thinking operates in their marketing department.

Change your dealer........ between 1992-96 a total of 15 new S6 manuals were registered into NZ.  Then add imports.

out of how many total urs6's, and why so few?  I don't believe it was customer demand.

Add to that the fact that urS6's were not made until 1995, which makes your figures seem a little suspect?  You seem to be including S4s?

Back on topic, am I the only one who has any opinion as to what the car is worth?

At your request... S6 versions specifically NZ new from '95.
1995 - auto x 5 manual x 5 = 50%
1996 - auto x 6 manual x 2 = 33%
1997 - auto x 1 manual x 0

Why so few?  reasonable ratio were manual in my opinion!

If your familiar with Audi model type codes you will understand that both the S4 & S6 were identical with model type '4A2859' meaning you were ordering the same model but going thru an evolution change in body shape in '95.  Prior to 1995, yes as we all know they were identified as the (C class) S4 then later re-badged S6.  Why Simply because they needed to separate the future (B class) Audi 80 replacement to be entitled 'A4' in '95 so avoiding confusion with the early Audi 100 based S4.  So today we have the B class S4.

As for the description 'ur' S4 & 'ur' S6 no such animal this was given only to the original > urquattro
This seemed to have derived from the UK as they attempted to lift its appeal to quattro status when in fact it was never marketed in Germany using this reference.

Correct....the S6 manual was available, predominately via customer order at the time.
