can anybody give me some advice on using a GFB plumb back diverter valve as a replacment for a suspected OEM valve failure. I experience surging and the car is chipped with MTM stage 1.Will the GFB be a suitable replacement to the OEM valve

you might be better off getting a 710N TT BPV. They  are essentually a stronger version of the original 710/710A and better suited to chipped to A4TQM's. Cheap too ~$80. A tidy OEM solution.

backwards so it acts as a diverter?
