Got the engine out of the 200, new one about to go in.
Will sand all discs and pop all calipers apart and clean them and reasemble with good fluid.
will get a new engine mount made from autoalighn.
fit a better AC compressor and get it regassed.
Hopefully I can suss out the reason why the ABS wont work as well. Would like to replace the wheel sensors but where do you get stuff like that :P I'd Love a new bomb as well.
Its gona be good to get it all up and running sweet tho, it needed this.
the clutch was getting all covered in oil but looks almost new and wasnt slipping at all, i will wash it down and get the flywheel refaced as i can see its only running on the outer edge! its a new sach clutch thats only done 5000kms or so.
My exhaust gasket was all blown open as well.
 wish the photos would work.
maaybe i go join photo bucket now.
The end is nigh, but the end of what is the question?

Nice work, wouldnt the abs sensors be the same as in the 80 and later 100?

Its not as bad as it looks Glen I am actually very careful with the goo, don't want it getting into the oil gallery now do we.

And nutter yes quite possibly they are. You got any? I will ask Simon at giltraps and see what they have and prices

Damn. I have to swap my cranks over.

An auto crank is different than a manual crank :P

Why would they go do a dumb thing like that.

How is it different? I thought that when I used a motor from and auto, it had a bush in the end, pull that out and put in the roller bearing

Engine is completely separate from the box, they are designed to be separate units.

ie, the Engine is NOT made for the box.

Yes guys I am a mechanic, i was very surprised to and did look at a possible bush that would swap over.
And i think yay that there is a bush you swap over tho i think the input bearing my break up gettig pulled out.
I do have another one ....hope i can find it.
So glad I don't have to swap the cranks ;)
