Whats a Fabia vRS worth done 125,000kms?

One of my fathers mates is thinking of selling his Fabia vRS.

Spec is:

Black
Tinted windows
Chipped (by Giltraps I think)
125,000kms

What do you guys think its worth?

What year is it? Should be a popular car even in todays climate but the kms will count a bit against it in the general appeal factor.

My guess is maybe $17-18K for an 06. Will be a nice car for someone.

OK, a bit of a update on this car, the owner decided not to sell it but hes toying with the idea now.
The car has done 180,000kms now, what do you think its worth?
How strong are the engines in these cars?

Well, given the uprated internals in the vRS, as long as the basics are taken care of then I'd expect it to be running well at around 350-400,000km

I would have thought around $10k.  The last one I saw that was asking around $15k had half those kms.

If he likes driving it, just keep doing so. You dont see many for sale second hand and they tend to sell pretty quickly. I would expect the tdi to do high milage, any reason why not?

Well, I kinda like the idea of owning it as a daily driver and use the RS2 on the weekends.
I guess my biggest concern would be the turbos life.

The Summerfield vRS is now running a Q7 turbo, NA cams and 40lb yet from my yarn with the crew a couple of weeks back is still very drivable... Plenty of room for turbo replacemnt by the sounds of it
