Eek, I think I'd go clinically insane if I had to listen to that all the time... :-\
Luckily my little people love Queen, Kiss and Pearl Jam too. Along with Counting Crows, Tool and Hi Five.

Our first customer V12 Q7 was going through its pdi tonight. What an awesome looking machine.

Funny what a big motor will do for a car, I always use to think the Q7 was hideous  :P

Had to change an exhaust temp sender   :o

You can get to the sensor easily but they route the wiring up on top of the gear box and cover the plugs with a metal plate so the only option is to drop the motor.

Matt

mjh

Sounds cheap and easy!!!!

b0000st

Its not too bad TBH and its covered by warranty so they prob allow about 5hrs lol.

Theres absolutley heaps of things that can only be changed with the motor out, wonder how many of the after market insurers will offer policies on cars like this and what the premiums will be?

Matt

HandsomeDan

I can't imagine that there'd be a massive second-hand market for these once they're out of warranty, if people know what's coming!

You and I know what's coming, but Joe Blow who sees a V12 Q7 for 50k and thinks WOW!!! Buys it and spends the rest if his ownership selling vital organs and becoming a "rent boy" to cover his garage bills.
It's been getting worse for the last ten odd years. Just look at all the really cheap early 2000 model Audi's, Mercs bla bla.
There was that wicked 2001 S6 that went recently for 22k! Beautiful car, but later on it's just going to hurt too much.
They're just far too complicated for their own good.
And now having to drop V10 and V12 engines out of RS6's, Q7's for medial work etc is just plain dumb engineering.
