Know the guy too...............its not really for sale. Hence the price. He parked it on the marks quite by accident and his mate took pix. Has had a lot of comments on why only two wheels! Still real cool car though.
Not for sale, but advertised for sale :-\
So why exactly is it on TM mizij, or should that be jizim? ;)

mizij

Nah Jizim owns it I used to work for him.  BMW has all the good bits. And should be a front runner. He didnt actually put the ad in and it wasnt Troy this time...(I am not gunna nark) but he has another son!...   I think it is meant to satisfy his bank manager. That car would never lay a patch like that and it would never be subjected to such treatment. Its his flagship and total pride and joy. Its probably the best looking one on the road for stance and sheer good looks and mongrel if you know what I mean. But thats only my veiw. I was with him one day and this young fella hung out of the passengers window of his mothers car and just went nuts over it. His mother nutted out at him. It is a real head turner though. (like all other UR's). Well I had best get back to work. Oh incidently I like your site and you have some neat people there...but also some "haters" sorry to say.  I love it and I will be back. Thanks for listening to my prattle.

I see the price has dropped from $48k to $25k ono.  Somebody has had a bit of a reality check!!

Then there's this one which has "traction control"??? Maybe that's why he's asking so much as it's a one off.

Pretty sure I saw this at Puke a few years ago - remember the plate. It's pearl metallic rather than the L90E white.  It was stunning back then.

That car is a really nice car. My Doctor owned it (he only sold it to buy David Eaton's RR if I recall correctly) and before that another local from round here by the name of Allan Styles (Allan purchased Dads sliver (road) Mk1 GTI from new) owned it.
Some MD of a rental car company purchased it off my Doctor.
Interestingly when Allan owned the ur he had the number plate "A" on it, when he passed away his wife sold the plate for some crazy money.
Oh, and at a HSV driver training day at Puke Mark Skaife took the ur for a few laps round the track.

So it IS for sale.
Reality has checked in.
If the OE wheels were on it, then it would appeal more to the proper enthusiasts.

States reason for wale is to acquire a genuine SWB version. Fair reason to sell then.

Hah, a simple typo perhaps but is this a new word to describe somewhere between astronomical and anatomical, ie between moonbeams and giving an arm or leg as part payment?

Cheers
