Audi S3 2003

Do I remap or not and what are the options?

I have looked at an Audi one through a dealer 225-257hp and 270 to 370 nm, doesn't seem like a lot for the money.

Has anyone on the board any experiences or alternatives? would they recommend?

Turbo

257 would give it a good kick in the pants.

someone had a pretty tweaked s3 on here a while back, 290 odd. gave a 996 turbo a bit of grief at a trackday.
2000 S4, MTM stage 1, Oettinger RE's, Bilstein Sports, Vogtland springs, H&R Swaybars, DBA 4000 rotors, EBC Yellow stuff pads, 710N DV's, F1 tints, RS4 clutch

Trofeo

Do it!! completely transforms the car - takes it from a quickish car to one that puts a smile on your face everytime you drive it. However you will find that you tend to exceed the speed limit more often than not. Forget the extra HP, its the torque that matters and 40% increase is huge!!

There are heaps of options available - do a search on vask for chip tuning or remap and you'll find everyone has a different view on who does the best map.

Yeah its gotta be done, my old S3 went much better after a tune. For about $1500 its well worth the money...
