I was out walking in Miramar on the weekend and came across a bloke washing his 3 door Mk4 GTI thats NZ NEW!
After having a chat with him it turns out its one of two NZ new 3 doors in the country. He also told me that the first owner was Colin Giltraps wife.
I told him about the forum so I hope he joins up.

That's my aunty's car you are talking about, VW's run through our family, my father learnt how to drive in a beetle, he now has a has a MK3 Golf GTI, my wife used to have a 2001 Polo GTI and I'm getting a new Golf GTI (have a look under the MKV posting).
