Im with all the other guys Ash. I like the current wheel setup the most.
hmmm, Supercharged or turbo'd VR6. sounds fun. But do you do it to the MK2 or the mk3? I wonder.

This thing is a little rocket ship! For a mk2 it just feels so tight and solid, yet still nimble and incredibly powerful for such a little car. The power is there no matter what gear/revs you're at it'll just pull on through. Ash was kind enough to let me drive it back from John's on Saturday and I was quite blown away, it's a lot of fun to say the least!! The VR6 is such a nice motor, power so useable and consistent.. And the sound  >:D

Cheers for the drive bro! Smiles from ear to ear driving this beast!

Hahahah Sam ;D

Pics of interior:

Engine bay:

WOW! That is awesome. You're giving me ideas... I love the MK3 interior. Just gives it a more modern feel, and aircon is essential. Once I get compliance, I'd like to take a look at yours if I can mate? Until then, I'll mull ABF vs 1.8T... After seeing these pics though, I think a MK3 interior is the way to go...

The lads had a great time at Monsoon today mate, so thanks for looking after us. Not sure if you noticed, but the other large group were from the company too. They thought it would be a good idea to follow....

Had to cut out the centre mounting point out of a mk3, weld it to the body and seats clip in to the middle but not at the edges. I.e. they float, but they dont move around. Seats are vr6, so might be similar?

Had to also modify where the seats clip in at the top.

I've got a similar mk4 seat conversion, and cut out all the seat mounts out of the mk4 shell to relocate in a mk2. A lot easier to weld in the actual fixings than to fabricate completely new ones.
Got all the bits but never got round to installing

A Momo, can't remember the name now...

Should try it, may as well set up an AP to ya!! ;)

Thanks mate, it took a while, but we got there. the photos do make it look much nicer than it really is lol! Still a bit to do to tidy it up, but otherwise it gets daily use by Zoe!
