Took her to Dean at Mr. Muffler. He cut out the front 'silencer', which was cracked, and has replaced it with a straight through section.  >:D

May have to find a box to suit as I don't know if I like it. It sure attracts attention when you you put your foot down.

Wound it down on the H&Rs to where it's going to sit for the next little while, and found I had to replace a tie rod end at the same time...

Super impressed with the H&Rs at the current ride height - not as comfy as the ARCs that were in it before but very solid and sure footed. I'm looking forward to going lower, but everyday driving around chch still puts me off for the moment. The H&Rs are still good for another 20mm drop though!  8)

Put the high flow de-cat downpipe on the Mk5 gti.
Much different sounding, nice crackle and definate extra torque.
Wont run through second without breaking traction even with the pirellis on it

When it's cleaner. It's only down about 45mm, nothing outrageous ... yet  :P

Installed gas struts for my bonnet, installed my new mk4 gear knob and replaced the abs light/seat belt/airbag lights

Got door dings removed by Hayden (Dent Doc) - great dude.
Got a quote from Final Touch - for touch up / polish / interior
Had a chance to pop in to get muffler checked for ping noise - apparently will settle with time. Will see. (Takapuna Mufflers - great dudes)

Came home.

±780km. Quick couple of days around BOP. Bit of R&R. Still got more than 1/4 tank !
