Porsche 968 Club Sport's in NZ?

Does anyone know how many 968 CS's are in New Zealand?
Does anyone have any pics of the NZ based cars?

Have a look under the Elerslie show pics of this year Nick, the best of the NZ new 968 Club Sports where there in attendance.

My fav Porsche there was the yellow 968CS (pics are up there of it and the owner was a sound guy to talk to) and especially when you find out how reasonably priced these cars are to pick up now. I recall there was at least one of each colour at the Porsche NZ club stand; the yellow one, blue and red.

Maybe 13 or less genuine NZ new ones? not sure.

Nearly purchased a yellow one from turners wellington 7 years ago, damaged. Was to be a base car for a targa car. That car was a genuine CS, but an import.

The last one that I know of that sold was my ex girlfriends ex boyfriends 968 CS. It was NZ new done just under 100,000kms, painted dark blue. Sadly it didnt have the race seats in it so it was more a UK spec Sport than a Clubsport.

TJ150, yellow, first rego'd in NZ 09/05/1995. Could be it?

That must be the car I remember seeing new in the CCS show room back in the day.

Was just looking at a 968CS in the workshop. Had it's cambelt and waterpump done (you vw/audi guys think its expensive, you should see what 944/968 owners have to pay) and now having a bent driveshaft replaced.

Take this with a bit of a grain of salt but I have a recollection there was 12x 968 CS sold new in NZ. This memory stems from a conversation with Richard Giltrap back in 1994 (I think) when he rolled up to my friends house in a then brand new white 968 CS and if my memory serves me correctly he told me at the time it was one of 12 imported into NZ.

I know the cam chain tensioner (the one between the two cams in the head) is approx $2500 just for the part.

Parts bill comes to about $3500. Two belts, couple of tensioners and bearings, water pump and a bunch of seals.

Try doubling that and you will be close to the retail price.

Yeah, I heard it could've been a tad more. But no one would pay that unless they had no alternative.
2.5k is bad enough.
When you see the part you wouldn't believe someone would have the audacity to try and charge that much. Even the chain guides which sit on the tensioner are insane money, just for a wee blob of plastic.

Just spotted [CS 968] on my lunch time coffee run. Dark blue, looked tidy - had tinted windows so I didn't see what seats he had.
