Spotted!
« on: January 10, 2005, 10:30:12 AM »
On the way home from Warkworth I spotted a few nice Audis, club members as well I think.

Pulling out onto the main road from Warkworth to Auckland a Blue RS4 had to give way to be at the lights with a modded A4 behind it, Im guessing it was Beeker (strange he hasnt signed up on the new site) and his wife? It wasnt till the motorway that he passed me, but sadly no wave :( and I wasnt to keen of following him at 130-140 Km/hs with just a V1, while he has a jammer.

Then while still on the motorway (south of Auckland city) a blue quattro came the other way with some dark large wheels on it. Was this Jay???

I spotted the same Blue RS4 parked up when I was heading back down from Warkworth last week as well, did see anyone in it though.

It was probably Jay's ur quattro that you saw, he got it back from the panel beaters just before christmas and has some dark mags on it.

I figured it was you with the "D" plates and lower suspension.
Nice passing move when you got a truck heading up one of those plassing lanes, I was wishing I had Dads old RS2 to keep you honest ;)

Do you feel very safe with your jammers?

As much as you can feel safe, yes'ish. I've done some testing with a laser gun, and know they do work well. Not 100%, but 95%. Only if installed correctly. oh, and they need to be M20's to beat the new Stalker Laser guns. M10's dont work on the new Stalker Laser guns, but do still work ok on the older prolaser ii/iii guns.

As a rule i try not to speed, but on the odd passing move, its hard not too.  ;D

The cop was on the other side of the motorway, pinging northbound cars from behind as he sat on the onranmp. Its a popular spot for them on this orewa intersection. They tend to get lazy, and leave it on auto.

We we're just crusing anyway.
