I've been looking at some RS4 replica wheels (same as Timmayyys but 17's), but Toptown says they are out of stock and are not sure when they will have some more. It's the same with everyone that stocks this brand (DTM). Does anyone know if somebody else does an RS4 rep? Its driving me crazy!

I got mine from Hyper Tyres in Penrose, Auckland. They're a friendly bunch of guys and usually offer good prices. The brand of mine was Ruotecompany, not DTM.

Cheers, I will look them up.

Yip RuoteCompany. I got mine from Mag and Turbo. I believe the importer is actually www.bgworldwheels.co.nz so you could try them too.

I got mine for $2600 (18") so there's obviously a bit of margin to play with

Do you know if they do them in 4x100?

I know you can get them like that in the states but I asume it would be a different company making the.

Do BG Marketing deal direct? It looks like its going to be them, but i have a local guy doing some digging for me. I'll see what he turns up today.
By the way (out of curiosity), what is everyones tyre of choice? I am probably opening up a can of worms with this one!  ;)

The same contact I gave ya makes good choices on tyres.
I am a Khumo fan. Ecsta 712 were the best I ever had.

I don't think BG Marketing deal direct (so their website says). I've got Goodyear GSD-3s which seem to be pretty good. Heard Toyo Proxies are pretty ok too.

Yep, i've heard pretty good things about Toyo as well. They are starting to get a pretty big following in racing circles so i've been told...

I have had a good run with Bridgestone Expedia S-02/S-03 and Falken Ziex ZE-512.  Probably find they're not the absolute greatest but they're affordable grippy tyres.

Toyo T1Rs are good, as are the Goodyear GSD3s, both good value for money.

i put some of falken ziex's on my A4, before i'd run them in they squealed a bit and had a bit of understeer, i thought they might be sh't, but after a couple hundred k's they were sweet.

the S4 has bridgestone potenza g3's on the front and dunlop direzza's on the back. they're supposed to be good ... seem to do the trick alright, did manage a bit of a 4 wheel drift accelerating around a wet corner (was trying to do so, just testing it out ...? y'know)

perhaps we should start a dedicated tyre thread? someone's usually buying tyres, could be useful.
i guess that's up to admin.

I just ordered a set of Bridgestone GIII's yesterday for my Ur. They are very good (wet or dry) And they're extremely good value.
I spent about a week asking everyone I know what tyres they preferr and spent a couple of hours on the net reading reviews etc.
A large part of the equation is personal preference and budget.

** Sorry about the hijack here **

Two forums I would like to see would be tyres/wheels and maybe a Car Audio forum?
