Project Diesel VRS Octavia

Just bought an 07 VRS octavia as a work car and aim to make it something of a project.
Put an aggressive map on it , 210 bhp and 440 Nm ,its pretty darm respectable.
Going to put new brakes in , coil overs, and looking seriously at the following stuff.

Q7 3.0 TDi turbo,
Race cam,
Full free flow exhaust
intake
Super strong clutch
Re-do all the intercooler end tanks and piping so they dont blow aprt.

Info say you can make over 600 Nm from that set up with really would be quite insame but a hell of a lot of fun.

Anyone done anything like that before?

You could have done with talking to Barna (MK2TDI) who had that insane mk2 Golf TDI, it also had a Q7 turbo.
He was heading back to Hungry but yon might be able to discuss TDI things with him if you PM him, the golf was not his first crazy TDI and alot of his mates in Europe are doing some pretty amazing things with performance diesels. He was convinced they were the future

On diesels the exhaust can be a straight through pipe from the turbo with no silencers, as the turbo acts as the silencer

True about the exhaust,
some of my Uk contacts have done them as well

Problem is as soon as you run the bigger turbo you need to do the multitude of other stuff, gets all pretty serious.
Oh and forgot the LSD! else it will just spin all day with the much thru FWD

Even at 440 Nm its pretty damn good to be honest.

Also anyone who knows what good looking wheels should go onit , any info apprecaited.
Not having much luck finding what i think will look good against the coil over stance and show off the nice rotos that will be hiding inside.

Super strong clutch

I'd say this will be a requirement sooner rather than later. The standard clutches can't take too much punishment - I'd already been through one by 40,000kms and the replacement can barely handle the torque either. All I've had done so far is chip and air filter.

Barnas car hasnt got electrical managment(ECU),turbo works different way!Engine came from Hun!Hi bolt it in,but for got 2 fit fuel pump!His car was useless!Zsolt fixed for him!It was his first TDI in his life!Barna is good guy and very helpfull,but no VW exp!Hi use to work for Mitshi back in Europe 2!Barna  sad,Tdi-s are very easy,and hi enjoy it long time ago!Hasnt build it yet!!!Anyway!Barna is good man and i like him!Funny!

Just make sure you leave the traction control off.. I broke an engine mount in our vRS by 30,000km due to the shuddering that happened whenever the traction control kicked in, and that's with the stock 350NM.. Gotta love that warranty

Stop thrashing first gear then!
With the coil overs in we get a lot less of that, but the new map will be fun , the old map was awesome but ill keep you posted on the new customer aggressive one going in  very shortly
