German road trip
« on: March 08, 2010, 05:09:09 PM »
Advice sought:

After the Nurburgring 24Hour, my son and I are going to hit the road and head SE to Tubingen to stay with rellies who have just moved there.

Looks like the Black Forest area and Ingolstadt are easy striking distance :)

Anyone know that area well and can tell me some "not-to-be-missed" tips?

Send me an e-mail and I'll have the Germans in the office get back to you (if they can advise).

I suspect that after driving in the race geting onto the track with a rental car might be a bit of an anti-climax  ;)

I was refering to KTN. Last year they used an RS4 and 2 Type R's. They rented the RS4 last year I was wondering if they were doing it again.
The RS4 is still on the KTN website but they site still seems to be getting updated.

First German doesn't know the area, and neither did the second, but the third is from the North. Audi is obviously close. How long will you be in the area?
