VW NZ (EMD) says 'late 2010' on their website.

There should be some demo's arriving in the next couple of months, should have been sooner but demand has been high for LHD versions so its been delayed.

According to a few articles in NZ magazines they are aiming to match, or better Hilux pricing.

Its supposed to be cheaper than the Hi-Lux spec for spec at launch.

In that case it should do well. Toyota need a reality check with their pricing, check out the cost of a Prado if you want a laugh.
