right well i picked this up this weekend its a 1990 vw jetta GL dont know too much except its been sitting in a garden for 6 years and it definately shows on the interior. body wise is pretty straight and has the big bumpers and arch trim and even has a 16v front lip booya! engine turns over but doesnt start but prolly has no fuel anymore. engine is a sadly state 200000k 1.8 carby manual. best bit about it.... rego is still live! so if its revivable itll be rebuilt if not stripped and all decent parts put into the shed.









the final plan is to do something like this to tow the golf to track days etc

Cool!! Another one.... I have loads of Jetta parts if you need anything Andy. Getting ready to strip my one down soon, it has a mint interior and we still have all the parts from the last one that got cut up.

what engines were in yours? got any black interior? what bits you got??

mine has a lovely shade of pastel blue interior. I think the black interiors you need to cut up a GTI for that 

there are all sorts of bits and bobs mate, easier to work out what you need and go from there. it has an automatic carby 1.8 in it at the moment

Hey Andy - just thinking about this, as it's for the Snowball run maybe a cold climate camo theme would be cool rather than the Army green?
