Im not too sure if it is, its the reflections in the boot that make me think its real.

The bigger pic would tell a better story, the handles of the axe things do look pretty out of contast.

I agree on the reflections but as you say the axe handles just don't look right.

looks real, the cop, the covered number plate.

the picks are obviously brand new with untreated handles... hence their matt appearance.
cos the car is parked in the shade with reflections showing sun it makes you think the handles should have sunlight on them. combined with the flattening effect of the camera flash... (overpowers their natural shadows and highlights.)
so they don't seem to fit with the image.
the flash is only strong enough to affect the closest handles so the ones in the bonnet and roof are more real, making the ones in the back look less so.

Bulgarian newspaper:

"Unidentified hit men jabbed seven pick axes into the car of Zdravko Donev (34), a construction entrepreneur
also known as Capone. The violent act occurred in the southern Black Sea city of Bourgas."

Armish and luditites, Greens like tecnology as long as its good tecnology, which kinda makes sence.
It would have to be a hit, as it would be hard for the average road rager to lay his hand on 7 picks id say! I think it must be real.
