On that topic, what is the deal with 3 Door Polo GTI's?  The only Polo GTI officially listed on the NZ pricelists is the 5 Door, yet I've seen a few 3 Door models around the place?

I'm guessing EMD special order them from Australia?

Totally mint MK2 GTI - 16v, 3 door heading on the Southern Motorway.

I think it might have been Simon's old car with a repaint and re registered ? (had an EXX reg plate)
Had the same steel wheels. Looked like it had come straight out of the paint shop

Really nice. Handles very well. The owner kept on encouraging me to go faster and faster though the twists and turns, lol
It has a very nice engine note and lovely interior.
I looked a but of a dick though, it was the first time I used a push bottom handbrake which I couldn't find . . .
