Saw the satin/matte black late model TT last night parked on the Parnell strip. Didn't get a chance to get a pic. Not sure if it suits a TT that much  or at least I'd say you'd need to do more with wheels and ride height to pull the "look" off properly. But certainly different

Dad spotted a red Porsche 959 today in Napier, carjammed it, its the real deal.

I've got a 1980's (Either 1988 or 89) NZ Car magazine with an article about a red 959 in NZ.  It was one made for a sheik of some sort, with a red leather interior.

I think Colin Giltrap owned that car, Im sure his one got exported in the late 80's, early 90's.
The one Dad saw came into the country September this year.

Yep, Giltraps 959 was red with red alright.  I'd also heard it left NZ many years ago.  Ssom, I remember the same article and probably have the same magazine stored in a box somewhere
