Fabia vRS Airbox
« on: August 14, 2010, 11:41:05 AM »
I noticed today that one of the tabs on the top part of the airbox has been slightly bent and therefore it doesn't sit quite right over the filter.  I know its a long shot but does anyone know of a second hand airbox for a vRS anywhere?  Perhaps this could also be a VW part?

Also, does anyone know if the alternator is the same as a Golf / Polo?

Some part numbers from the side of the airbox:

ZSB: 6Q0 129 601 AJ
600 183

Filter: 6Q0 129 607 AJ
Filterelement: 6Q0 129 620
LX 708

Anyone know what ZSB is?  Looks like it could be the same as a 9N Polo.

The alternator is more likely to be the same as on a Golf than a Polo, you will need to know the Amperage and wether its a Bosch or Valeo.

Cool, thanks guys.  That guy on TM is hopeless.

Vert is your Polo petrol or diesel?  The airboxes are different.

Anyone got an alternator part number 038 903 023 L?

It's a 90A and could possibly be the same as a Golf / Polo.

I want to buy one to rule something out with the vRS.

Cheers

Matt
