Bike Rack for Octavia

Hi,

My understanding is that the Skoda (Best Bar) towbar is a gooseneck 50mm ball attachment that can be removed from the rear of the car. Can a NZ bike rack (a Thule) be attached to this even if there is no flat part under the ball to be attached to? Has anyone attached a bikerack to the Skoda towbar, if so, what brand? Thanks.

i had a factory 50mm audi towbar and my bike rack fitted fine. Need to ensure the allen key is done up tight tho. Can't remember the name of the rack but it was a pretty common nz made one.
