Two 348 GT Competizione, very rare cars, and are meant to be very good cars (if you believe what you read).

All really cool cars just sit there :P ::)
 Rich people make me sick.

Check out the basement of giltraps! chockablock full of fantastic cars that nobody drives or even needs.

He should just have a lottery and give them away to winners. The Sultan isn't going to lose any sleep over the money side (he has plenty) and the cars would get used

And yes, some could end up in the hands of bogans but there are rich bogans too and they probably have cars like these

5 or so years ago we had a crazy load of cars come in that were supposedly from the Sultan's brother (I guess the one who had statues of himself having sex made).  Apparently he fell out of favour with the sultan for some reason, and the sultan had his 50 polo ponies shot in front of him and confiscated and sold his cars.  There were some seriously amazing cars in there, porsches old and new, bentleys, aston martins, ferraris, a lambo diablo, along with about 40 assorted mercs.  It was all pretty hush hush at the time.
The amount of money some people have to throw around! :o

the ruling family of Brunei defined conspicuous consumption, or possibly needless squandering of wealth, Prince Jeffri was the epitome of LOMBARD, with a boat called "tits" and the tenders were "nipple 1" and "nipple 2"

they would go to the various car factories and buy one in every colour, then not often drive them, the sultanate reportedly kept Bentley afloat through the eighties, with custom one-off orders for coachbuilt (and often tatseless) cars, wagons and SUVs

there are plenty of websites about these wastrels http://www.autozine.org/Misc/Article/brunei/Sultan_garage.html

the only thing I envy them is the Fazza 456GT estate, Pininfarina did pretty well out of this lot as well

Yep, the big one was up for sale about 5 years ago, don't think he ever set foot in it though. Was apparently fitted out in typical gold plated everything fashion...
