Key problem

the key won't come out !

Happened a few weeks back in the usual car driveway shuffling.

Chip was backed up the hill and on straightening to the footpath,  it felt like the steering lock moved

Anyhow, went to turn it off and the key only got 3/4 of the way back, the ignition is OFF but the key just won't move any further back.

Its a hard contact, so I think it may have something to do with the steering lock.

Tried wiggling the wheel while you turn?

Hi try a little liquid soap.

If you get stuck I have a streering /ignition lock & Key off a 100

yeah tried the turn and wiggle ..

If the car is auto, it may have something to do with not being in PARK properly. I've noticed that my key sometimes wont turn, I just stomp on the brake, put it in drive and back in park and that seems to do the trick.
