busy morning spotting!

went out to Bucklands Beach to pick up my new headlights from Leon, who didn't know about VASK and is going to investigate, he has a reflex silver MK4 V64M that he is working on, badgeless grille, lower bonnet etc, and a same colour 98 Polo, wants to investigate some upgrades to the Golf so VASK will be useful for him

on the way there and back:

>  a ropey fibreglass buggy body only on a trailer towed by a Range Rover on Sunnybrae Rd (I think)
>  a Bentley Continental GT (silver) on the Southern M'way
>  Platinum's buggy at Platinum when picking up a foglight switch
>  a Ferrari 458 Italia in Remuera,
>  a VW Phaeton backing into a park also in Remmers
>  a black Golf R in Newmarket
>  a white Golf R in Takapuna (and a while ago I said you don't see many around!)
>  a red buggy scooting up Archer Rd when back on the Shore

whew!  time for a lie down!  too much excitement

On the way to long bay I spotted a silver golf mk2 single headlight, and then down the same street a short while later another silver golf mk2 with quad headlights (I'm pretty sure he saw me too  :))

Hehe, that space is normally empty as the entrance to a building is beside it (to the right of the photo). I bet the owner didn't want all the karate kids scratching it as they come in and out, hence only having 1/4 of the car in the space. ;D

GTi101

followed an identical silver MK4 GTi on the north western motorway towards town, at 1045 this morning. Traffic was crape so couldnt get up to be along side to see if they might have been a vasker

Weird cos it also had smoked tail lights and a sunroof, but even more weird is that it also had a number plate beginning with EQC... just like mine

anyone here?
