80 quattro

Is it possible to convert fwd 80 to quattro?

I know, its easier to buy one thats already quattro... but i just wanted to ask

It is but its not worth it, 80/90 quattros can be had for bugger all

requires new rear floor pan if i'm not wrong (i.e. one from a quattro).  someone's done a quattro conversion to a cab and he said he would never do it again.  Ever.

A guy in Taumaranui did this conversion, when they were rare, ask him again now and he wouldnt ever do it.

Just go and buy one if you have the need.

yep, easiest and cheapest option, its not like i was actually gonna do the conversion, i was just curious if someone has done it
