Well back to the mk1 Have a nice list of things to do:

Cambelt
Water pump
Valve cover gasket
Glow plugs
Clutch
Gearbox
make throttle smother
Get indicators to flash
Headlight relay kit
Change the locks and ignition barrel with ones I have so one key works everything
Stereo - only so much diesel noise you can take
Change wheels to something less gay

But other than that its ok, just slow. Have been getting around 5l/100km

Just ordered some bits from autohaus for it and one of my 80 quattros, also got sick of waiting 20sec for the plugs to glow so decided to get the fast glow plugs, 7sec glow opposed to 20sec, and why the damn do I get negative respect for the post above???

Yea I dont see the point of this respect thing,

I dont think I mucked him around, I said id do it that week and I was, he would of had on sat. maybe he can be a bit more paitient next time. There will be plenty of other mk1's with wheel wells he can cut out.

I dont think ill sell it, id rather chop it up just joking, have got the clutch, gearbox and locks  from the red mk1 ready to go in and have a set of p slots to go on it and parts have been ordered from autohaus so should be here in the next week or so

Yes I was going to say this nutter but Spoolin beat me too it.
 They (spoolin and Vert) see you on here raving away as usual but you don't bother to answer the PMs they have sent......So they think your doing a nutter, which you have done to plenty.
 They are hard working dudes who are arms deep in a expensive rebuild of a car you should be interested in seeing get completed as vasker.
 Why didn't you reply?
 Ok in the end maybe they too did jump to the obvious conclusion that you were dicking them around a bit too soon but you should still be a little humble and not throw the frickin thing away.
 Nutter that's how you work and nobody else on here works that way. Except Ballin.
 It is you who needs to learn and change a bit not Spoolin or vert.
 I think its really sucks you threw that away.
 
 And remember at the drags nutter? I said don't leave without me as I wanted a lift into town as my car had broken, you said ok. About 20 mins later I see you just driving off.
