Or a 2l 8v ex audi80, bottom end tweaked and tidied, actually didnt need much [1.5k], did 3x targas, head was a new large valve ,special cam-hydraulic, flowed  but blew head gasket on the last outing, havent had the head repaired or even apart, dont know if repairable but after all the work on it would be worth a try! or use my previous 1.8 head?

Hey Paul, what work was done to the block, and how much are you after for it?
1980 VW Golf GTI Track Car
1995 Audi RS2
2003 Mini Cooper S (Written off - rear ended)
2005 Mini Cooper S
2006 Skoda Octavia vRS Combi
2009 Renault Megane 230 R26 (Written off - rear ended)
2013 Renault Megane RS265 Redbull RB8

The block was dismantled, completely checked and anything that was not perfect was repaired or replaced, but it wasn't blueprinted and the crank was not rebalanced, it was not necess. Basically only rings and bearings were done, but even so not really essential, but when you get an unknown engine with unverified K's  and you want to race it , not worth the risk without the exercise. Price is negotiable.
