That's a nice parts fairy you've got...

When they're both finished will be nice to compare braking between yours and mine - I thought long and hard and went with a 25.4mm master cylinder with a very big brake booster.....

Was reading a write up of how long it took to make a GTi in 1981 - basically a day. Raw sheet in at 4am and the car rolls out at 23:50.....

That looks like a perfect 16:45 - body painted ready for assembly....

Only 7 hrs to go ........

Yep. The wife's is a different paint code though, and being a Quartet it has colour coded mirrors, bumpers and flares.  So I think they'll still make a great matching pair.
