Brake Problem (ABS?)
« on: October 31, 2011, 04:38:02 pm »
driving home today I noticed an issue with the brakes on my 100CD,  the brakes (all of them) seem to be sticking on and not releasing when I take my foot off the pedal.... if I keep driving eventually they seem to release and I limped home (only 2km) in this manner.  Obviously I can't continue driving it like this as by the time I got home I was getting some "overheating smoke" from both front wheels (not sure about the rear).

Anyone like to offer suggestions as to what I should look at first as the culprit?

thanks for that,  I'll check out the master cylinder.

I did need to move it last night and found the brakes had released themselves, so whatever the exact issue is,  it's apparently not fully jammed.
