Mk2 GTI for sale anywhere?

Hey guys,

I'm in the market to get a Mk2 GTI.
I'm after one in good condition, not like the s**te currently listed on trademe.

Anyone know of someone wanting to sell one?
I've got up to $6k to spend.

Well I just thought putting my interest out there may tempt some people to sell theres..

Good luck on your search. If you can't find one maybe try finding one that's not a 'GTI', but with similar specs? Some later Golf 8v's are pretty similar to 8v GTI's as far as I know, (correct me if I'm wrong here).

What about the gold colored on on TM with pslots. Looks pretty good overall?

Mmm the holes in the doors and missing rear bumper kinda put me off.

Not an option! I definitely want a GTI, no matter how long it takes.

Those bits are easily replaced and do not effect drivability.

Member Dukit has a LHD digital dash 16v 2 dr in great condition!
It just needs my BBS RS01's on it!

i reckon you would be looking at at least $7500 and up for a real nice mk2 gti 16v these days, they're getting pretty thin on the ground

Thats almost good for me too hear because I may be buying a mint 8v for $6k (hopefully if the owner accepts!) and I thought that was too much to pay.

I know they are only going to go up in value so it doesn't bother me paying top dollar for a good one.
