always liked johhnys car- great colour and nice facelifted late mk2 spec
not a valver but an ABF will sort that  ;)

Well I put this super original Mk 2 GTi up on Trademe, pictures for Africa, 0ver a thousand hits, and nooooone even bothered to view.  What does that tell you?  Too expensive?  Everone would rather buy cheap and then spend another $6K to get one into shape? or what?   Not even a view and haggle.  Or some people are all talk and no action.  So off the market it comes.

Nice car, but possibly a bit expensive. For $6500 Johnny's car is a 90 spec big window big bumper with fewer kms.

And Choppy's car was around 7k, but it was a 16v and totally mint.

These cars will sell fast and command high prices, a small bumper 8v in tidy original condition would have to be damn special to get over 5k (IMO).
