they are worth something if they are in good cond, no dents or rust. Ill have a look at what I have spare, even finding good plastic ones can be hard now as I still have my 3 door I need to keep parts for

Hi Dave.
You got a really really really good car there. I didn't know it was for sale or i would have bid it a bit higher than what you got it for! He was mad to sell it for that really.
Im not sure if you have driven it yet but it has a full GTI 1.8 DX motor with fuel systems etc and gti box in it along with the better brakes etc.
The third gear pull in that car is really amazing.
Please do the car justice and get the paint and rust sorted before you spend up on silly stuff but it does need to be lowered and have good shocks and it also needs mags and tyres.
It is a really sweet car that. I have done so much work on it.
To be honest I was a little annoyed young Audio didn't ofer it to me as I had always told him too but you know how these young people work ::)
 Bloody young people >:D
And now he has the gaul to try and say hes saved me from ANOTHER mk1 golf......hes right, I just hope you look after one of my baby's. ;)

Don't swap the chrome bumpers with Basil ::) The chromes are worth way more than some cruddy plastics.
I have a set of small plastic and a set of mint chrome and a set of big bumper.

It goes real good eh, I was always well impressed at the way it pulled that third gear. I mean it hauls that third gear. Not as good as my ABF mk1 but pretty funkin good.
