That was in Armstrong's Jag/LR/Volvo showroom for a while... it's a GTB dressed up and number plated 599GTO. A bit sad really.

I don't mind it.

well iI'm probably being a bit precious as I know the guy and he's a really really really nice guy and loves cars.  and has a bit of cash so thought he'd treat himself.

he's been driving the same cars for yeeears (range rover for wife and an old xjs le mans edition as his)

it's funny cause he's reaaaally understated.  too look at him (and to talk to him) you wouldn't think he was a massive deal.

but now this car kinda makes him stick out...

maybe it's his midlife ferrari.  :P

Cool car and all, but that paint scheme and Rim colour isn't the most flattering. You friend sounds like a good dude, maybe the dealer just pushed him into it?

it's possible that the guys marking the drive out did it on purpose knowing that we'd get them to respray a portion of it and they'd get to put the 3/4 in!

it's also more probable they just were munters, sprayed out 70% of the drive and figured out they got it all wrong and  they had to shimmy a few lines around!

harry potter sounds better though :D

Not sure if you were being sarcastic, but hard parking is basically just a gathering and showing off cars = park and show off.

Superb display of driving (or parking?) from an officer in Newmarket. Car was a total write off

I thought Parking up was when you took a lady friend somewhere and gave the back seat (or whever seat you had preference too) some extra "attention"
