x10000000
I have had heaps of them repaired, $150 is a good price.
They normaly throw either a wheel sensor fault or a hydraulic pump fault, if you're getting charged 500-1000 you're getting robbed!!!
Anything Electronic in Nelson repairs the modules for 120+gst.

Hmm I might have to price match then! I'll fix them for $120 including the modifications which adds about an hour and a half to the repair time  :)

I have a similar problem, my ABS light and AIRBAG light won't go off. Its a 94 golf gli. The mechanic fiddled with it for the warrant nearly 6 months ago and said the cables had been snipped. Also the panel in which the lights are displayed gets insanely hot. Can anyone help me with this? I live in Auckland

Airbag light is probably a faulty clock spring (behind the steering wheel)

Is there anyone in the north island that can fix the ABS light soldering issue? Or anyone that can talk me through it with a cash incentive?
