Coilovers too short?

Bought these off Ballin.

He said it was for mk3 or his vr6 so he said.

200mm too short at the rear for a MK2

part numbers are   REAR: GFVW01H
Front: GFVW02V

I dont know what vw they are for?

The red ones? TA Technic or something?!

He sold these to me 3 or so months back. I went to get them fitted at Precision wheels and yeah, fronts go in fine but rears way too short.

They are designed for a 6n polo not a mk2.

I could custom make an adaptor to make them fit but cbf so i decided to sell them

Why don't you try and get your money back as you were misled. You were told they fitted a mk2 and the seller knew very well they did not.

His inbox is full. He replied to my negative feedback on trademe 
I said
"Did not fit my car even though he said it would"
He said
"No you wanted mk2 Coilovers which I said they may not fit....your response was "if they don't fit I can always flick them on" you knew they were for a mk3 as it states on the auction"

Pretty sure he knows they DO NOT fit at all... From duncan's encounter,  Not MAY NOT FIT

Mk3 golf suspension fits into mk2s under my knowledge. Vr6 GTi and non gti's.   Correct me if im wrong.
