http://www.plates.co.nz/upgrades/restyle/

^ You just type in your existing plate number, click on the 'already my plate' tab when prompted, and elect the euro option down the bottom.

Never ceases to amaze me how little VTNZ know about their own back yard!

Edit: think I might have missed what you were asking, are you wanting to de-euro your plate?

cool as, I know the plates.co.nz path, just thought the VTNZ had a way as well.  but maybe not

:D

Euro plates are such a rip off, I was told if I broke mine or just wanted shiny new ones in a year or so, Its only about $20 to replace them. But to get new ones made it's hundreds  ???

Yea, normally I probably wouldn't, but I just sold my PP so I've got it almost covered.

Funny enough there are a lot of 'lofts' out there! I spammed a couple with a quick email that I was selling the plate and bam, some guy down the line snapped it up.

I've done a bit more research and I've decided to go the 'illegal' route. There are a bunch of guys on bimmersport running those plates so I'll just see how it goes for now. Will keep original plates in the car for the worst case scenario!
