What options for big brakes is there that will work with 4x100 hubs? Is 280mm rado the biggest that will work?

For factory bolt on fit, 280mm G60 is the biggest 4x100 set up.

You need Passat GT or 1990+ GTI 16V hubs and G60 calipers/carriers/discs.

I have some hubs, calipers and carriers for sale.

Will 280mm be big enough for a track car? Those 2pot calipers weigh a ton too

I had mk3 gli brakes on my old mk2 gti, they were good for an 8v on the road, but I dont think they will pull up a 1.8t on the track

Correct, they wont.
The Vento has fancy 4 pots with 312's and are too small.

I do have a set of porsche calipers (same as rs2) and rs2 caliper brackets that I was going to use on my 90 quattro, would they work as the caliper bolt spacing is the same
