Hi Guys, I have just purchased a c4 s6, think the guy saw me coming.
It has more than a few issues!!! However, I love it.
Can someone direct me to a site where I can purchase parts, as i intend to return it to its former glory.
It needs mainly cosmetic bits, badges, new lenses etc, as well as some mechanical bits.
All help appreciated, also does anyone know a good Audi mechanic who doesn't charge the earth??
I'm based in Warkworth, so a mechanic in the Auckland/Northland region would be great.

Thanks

What mechanical bits does it need?
Im guessing its an auto?

At the present moment, the brakes are very heavy, and I have a warning light re initial start up.
Had some minor bits done yesterday, and the mechanic tells me its probably the brake conduser?
I.e it does not have a brake booster, and runs off a pump, I assume this is the cause of the concrete brake pedal.
Any thoughts??

Yes, I did buy it off trademe...........its the maroon/burgundy car
What do you know?
Other than I bought an expensive restoration project

Welcome to the Forum - you must find a tame mechanic who knows his way around the turbo I5. De-bugging issues will cost lots of dosh and not always be successful.
I will pm you.

Yes sounds like the brake pressure accumulator:

Mine is also about to die (warning light at start-up, but no heavy pedal yet.

Anyone know a good place to get the part and do the replacement at reasonable cost?
