020 starter

Are they all the same or are some more powerful than others? Mine turned over the old 8v fine but is strugling with the 1.8t

Have diesel one should have more grunt but not sure,need to talk to owner as its not mine.
Pull it to bits and give it a clean,replace brushes and polish comutator,should be ok if its heathy

My 020 starter struggled with my ABF when it was hot.
The end is nigh, but the end of what is the question?

Dead right Jem my 3a conversion is taxing batteries the old gx had low compression and the 3a is 10.1 to 1,the joys of engine conversions  ::) ::) ::).
The oiler starter is longer in the body ,this means on a Bosch starter it has more grunt (mostly ) will check the one I have.
