Hey, probably been asked loads before but can anybody recommend any cheap freight companies. Need to get set of 17" wheels down to Queenstown from Wellington.

Have emailed a few of the major ones tonight, mainfreight etc. Waiting on replies. Just wondered what others were reasonable.

Cheers

Mainstream would have been half that  ;) Mainfreight is one of the most expensive out there yet sooo many use them.

Might have to get an account with one of them, did you have an account for the $98 Auckland to Dunedin shipment?

Not in any real rush for them, a mates storing them in his garage for me, don't want to leave them there too long, garage space in a valuable commodity!!

Mainstream and PBT are pretty rough but generally cheap.

Mainfreight precision is expensive but suppose to have the best handling, but for wheels then i don't think it will be too much of an issue.

If it can fit INSIDE the floor area of an pallet, then it is generally pretty safe, otherwise i usually call PBT, Peter Breaker Transport and Mainstream is not so much better.

If it was from Auckland -> Qs Town then i would actually recommend a place called Bascik Transport.

We have dealt with Mainstream for about 10 years now and have never ever had any damage, not even a damaged box!
