I stopped at around $8k due to cost of shipping down here. I think $11,200 was on the high side but still good if you are in Auckland and want a race car project.

Was it confirmed that the original engine was still in it? Sounds on the high side when you can get a runner for low $20's.

Who thought it wasnt the original engine? Its not like some one would go to the effort to steal it and then just fit a standard 2.7tt back in

Turners told me $11,700 was final price although he may have mis-remembered. Still a lot higher than I went for a parts car. Good luck to the buyer.

Its unlikely but then who knows how stupid a car theif may be?? Unless you are joyriding its not like you would be able to sell a hot RS4 in NZ except as parts and then probably only off shore.

Just met the owner (pre theft) of this RS4 - pretty gutted about it all!! He has the spare key and other stuff if the new owner wants it. It might be on here for a look too...

Hey guys, I like everyone was thinking I to was think the same things and thought f@#k it and took the risk and just brought it, what can I say I've love this car since the day I came out, such a staunch wagon. So I lumped over close to 12, 000 without knowing if the car even started or had the right computers, engine, I was even told the brakes weren't og

The risk paided off, purchased a key for audi in new market, went home and she roared into action gotta love it. It has the original brakes it has the original engine it had all the computers thank god, what everyone was seeing was the ac missing which is now replaced.

With these turners damaged auctions its like secret santa mixed with csi, you never know what you get,  where it came from or who's telling you the true story...

My interpretation is it was stolen and then crashed beyond driveable, what doesn't add up is how crashed on the road side did the thieves manage to have time to strip and steel all the interior dodgy!  Lol

They had pulled the pipe off the factory blow off valve and tried to block it with a stone to make the bov sound, it had cans of woodstock all through it and even a 2 degress mobile phone pre pay held together with rubber bands,  must be young kids that stole it and must be their phone

So it all sounds good so far but there are a few things need, wheels as all are sweet but one was way to broken for arrow wheeks to fix,  it needs some panel beating (happening as we speak) and re compliance. And the biggest thing fir me at the moment is the recaro interior...

Anyway thats a little bit of background for you guys and to answer your questions its going to be back on the road, with wide wheels ( if you guys have any idea on which wheels I should go for?) Possible future upgrades... putting coilovers in it, its going to be stanced on stretched tires,  I know not everyone's buzz but mine, front mount, hi flowed or upgraged turbos, 3" exhaust,  after market computer, I want to do it big like the poms to it huge horse power will be the aim

Was it just the front seats missing? Did you know that Recaro race seats were an option in a B5 RS4? Beeker has a jpg of the options. I guess that could be an option?
