19" wheels for a Audi a4

hey ya well ive got my eye on a set of 19''inch Carlsson RS Evo my question is will they fit with out causing any major problems the spec are as follow
WHEEL DETAILS:
8.50J X 19H2 ET40
WIDTH: 8.5"
HEIGHT: 19"
OFFSET: 40
STUD: 5 X 112
TYRES: FRONT - 235/35/19R
TYRES: REAR - 265/30/19R

also any1 interested in a set of 17x8 oettinger type re

why is the profile lower at the rear wouldnt that make your car sit unevenly..

The 35 / 30 thickness of the tyre is a proportion of the width. ie when you get wider, this number gets less in order to maintain the same physical thinkness.


You wont get 265's on an A4 (b5). 225's are the max recommended. Some manage to squeeze 235's but need fender rolling and expect some rubbing. Search on www.audiworld.com for such a topic.

exactly... the profile is the percentage of the width, ie. front profile = 0.35 * 235

19" is huge... wish my car could fit 16s properly...
