Hay guys my s4 tow car has thrown a hissy and it is the cam sensor (code is 00515 ) and i need to get the tart back home as it is stranded in Hamilton. has anyone got one spare as our local parts people say itll need to come from germany as they dont have any.

Any help appreciated
Thanks
After twelve years of therapy my psychiatrist said something that brought tears to my eyes. He said, "No hablo ingles."

Hmm, sorry guy I have no 5 cyl ones, unless they're all the same which on reflection they could be eh?  They just measure rotation...
In which case I have one or two 12V V6 ones that may bolt up.  In saying that they're fairly cheap to buy and it surprises me that people like Qualitats don't have them in stock.

Yes I would try more than a local parts shop.
Qualitat, Platinum, even Repco and Partmaster can get electronic parts and then there is all the Auto electric suppliers too.
The end is nigh, but the end of what is the question?

Cheers for any ideas but i trumped all of em
Jaycar stock the hall sensor and it is easy to swap them out and replace the sensor $24 later which is a dam sight better than the 300 i was quoted ex germany!!  The difference is now for trailer hire and beer

The hall sender G40 in link?

Jaycar stock them, I got one a couple of years ago from them, never had a problem. You will need to solder the wires, and pop rivet it onto the bracket.

I believe this is the right one, appears to be the only one they stock.
