I thought I would see if we can put a list of all the factory Mk2 Golf GTI 16V's in the country, whether they are NZ new or import (Not interested in SA cars) or dead.

NZ New , lives in Dunedin
Genuine Low KM car, last I saw it was around the 58,000km mark

( no, its not leaking anything, the under tray cardboard thing was there as a requirement as its parked on the green inside the new Dunedin Stadium )

Jem's old girlfriend had a small bumper 16v one. I'll try dig out some photos.

Choppy's one is the only other one I can think of though?

There was also a blue 16v jetta in warkworth a few years ago that I got some parts from. He had the black one choppy now has at the same time

A guy in Napier (last name 'Hunter') had a white 16v a couple of years ago. Not sure if he still has it.

Not interested in them, they arent built in Germany, the are normally a different spec. Feel free to start SA GTI topic though.

No Plates Yet - 1990, Brilliant Black Metallic, 3dr big bumper. Just imported from Ireland. Currently awaiting Entry Certification, hopefully it'll be on the road this weekend...
