There is a red S3 on Trademe at the mo, Id never seen a red S3 before:

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Cars/Audi/auction-55080497.htm

Note that this is NOT an S3 Sport. (Mirrors and Interior are the easiest give away)

Interesting colour though, not sure whether I like it or not, I beleive its somethign you have to see in the flesh.

Isnt it just the older S3s that dont have chrome wing-mirrors?

Never knew of a S3 Sport?

The Red S3 on Trade-me is/was a dog. It was sold at Hammers about a month ago for $18500. Clutch was toast, woldn't rev past 3500 and was in general bad shape. It looks to have a service history but hadn't been serviced for a while.

Still the red does look good - lovely matching red gear lever boot too ;D

I'd go with blue, or red

Or white, but have never seen a white S3

Have seen Ming Blue, looks nice, but a bit too luxury & not sport looking

I think the chrome mirrors were an option on the earlier S3's

Ok ill put my hand up and openly admit i dont know much about S3's. However I got that info from the net about the sport. I know that it applies to the S4, as was told by CCS back when i was looking at one 3 years back.

probably refers to the packages you can get when buying new, ie. sport package, winter package etc.
just optional extras like heated seats and ski bag vs sunroof and bose.

There was a sport option on the suspension - lower ride and stiffer springs.

However for 2002 there were a number of changes including suspension geometry and trim which resulted in significantly better handling for those models sold here from October 2001.

When i bought my Oct 01 S3 I drove about 4-5 and the handling was quite different on the later ones.
