$100 to fill an A4
« on: April 28, 2006, 08:08:10 am »

It's official guys, it cost me a hundie to fill the A4 last night. I had to struggle going from bone dry, to manually squeezing the last drops out to tick over the hundie. I think 98 Oct was $1.83 at Bombay Hill BP.  :o

$105 for 56ish litres of 98. The first time i exceeded $100 to fill up was last night.
Fortunately its a business vehicle so some of the costs gets deducted. :)
Saw i first RS4 also outside Kings School in Auckland. Absolutely amazing.  :o
Also over 1 trillion police out and about. Thanks V1  ;)
A lot of 1sts on that trip.

Your best to fill it up and top it up when it gets to half way. It will cost you less in the long run and wont pick up all the crap from the bottom of the tank.

How? Wont you always be carrying around half a tank of fuel that never gets used. The extra weight requires more fuel burn to achieve the same speed/acceleration.

i just use my car on the weekends, during the week i'm at uni, and can't afford Parking, let along gas to go to Uni... when i need to use the car, i put sufficient gas in...

Your best to fill it up and top it up when it gets to half way. It will cost you less in the long run and wont pick up all the crap from the bottom of the tank.

problem is getting that 100 bux to fill up the tank... you are right tho...
