Well he's talked to all of us at CCS parts now! Neil was helping you with the chip and you talked to me the day before about wheels, mats and bodykits.

Thanks for the help guys.
Just had a couple of other very mundane questions.
My Golf is operating at 90degrees is this about right?
Also, how long can you keep driving for after the petrol buzzer and light comes on. (thats always good to know).
And i got 530km from my first full tank. Is that about how many k's i should be getting.
Cheers.

cao

90 Yes

Petrol Buzzer dunno alway fill up (First time test driving a golf on the way back the buzzer came on gave my such a fright thought it was going to blow up or something)

K's Per tank sorry I don't pay much attention to it.

Your reserve from when the light comes on is about 7-8 litres...

They can be tuned to give more power than u can use

With my chip my wheels break loose in second  >:D

So cao, your happy with your wett chip and forge DV experience too. Being 4WD, I can't experience wheel spin. What did the clutch set you back?

Yes happy  ;D

Clucth thread

Im not saying the chip is more power than you can use I was trying to imagine what an APR 3+ would be like.  What gear would it spin in with 300-350hp

hitmanGTI

hmm.. when the clutch goes in today.. i will probabaly be investing in a boost controller and upping the tempo to around 17lbs

cao

hitmanGTI

i figured it can handle it..

plus i still got a spare turbo..  ;D

failing that.. ill buy a K04

cao

Is not more likly to run lean if you up the boost via a manual process.
