Engines for New A4??

Have EMD announced engine options the intend to offer for the new A4 yet?

got me an invite from Giltraps to the launch of the new A4 at Pukekohe in a couple of weeks........won't be going though. Interesting that there is still no info on what options they intend to offer here in NZ

So we're going to get the 1.8T with multitronic, and the 2.0T FSI and 3.2 FSI with quattro and tiptronic. No manual transmisssions as standard options.............whaddya do if you actually wanna drive the car??

Yep, thats what the 2.0T FSI is, but the 1.8T will be available with the multitronic trans.

Yep, thats what the 2.0T FSI is, but the 1.8T will be available with the multitronic trans.

No manuals in the new S4 either.....

Doh! Didnt read your first post enough!

I would have thought the 1.8t would have gone with the 2.0t

interesting.

No manual S4 is rather sad though.

Are the new car designers just plain lazy so design transmissions that they like or is the market for lazy changes really that large that they don't consider offering a Manual shift for the real enthusiasts
