Hey guys,

how much are braided hoses for the S3.. and exactly what do they do?

they make your brake pedal feel as solid as a rock.. and actually makes your leg do the work to brake the car.. ie gives you an actuall feel on what the car is doing....

careful about these as i've heard some wof places are anal when it comes to these. My mate had to take them off his M3 to get a wof. Don't know what the actual regs are, so would be wise to investigate first.
has anyone else had a similar experience?

Braided hoses are perfectly legal as long as they have the correct markings on them, your average brake and clutch shop should be able to make them for you with the appropriate overbraid and markings on them, i had some made (at ABC in wellingotn)  for my lancer, 2 front 1's were $60 each, and the back 1 was $50. Pretty cheap for an awesome improvement, especially if you have upgraded other bits in the system.
